Why Het Land van Jan Klaassen is the Absolute Best Theme Park for Toddlers
A Park Approved By Both Our Kids In Early Toddlerhood
Het Land van Jan Klaassen is a fantastic attraction park located in Braamt, Netherlands. We have visited the park twice in the last few years, and it has consistently been a wonderful experience for our family. The entrance ticket is highly affordable at just 11 Euros per person, and we easily spent 2 to 3 hours exploring everything on offer.
The attractions at the park are perfectly suited to smaller kids. You will not find any thrilling roller coasters or scary rides here. Instead, the focus is entirely on classic, active fun.

Outdoor Playground and Classic Attractions
This park was a massive hit with both our kids. They spent hours happily playing on the tricycles, trampolines, swings, slides, merry go round, and the see saws. There was also a giant slide that both of my children loved. Naturally, we had to accompany them down the slide, which turned out to be a lot of fun for the adults too.
Experiencing the Mini Train
During our visit, we noticed a lovely mini train that runs at specific times throughout the day. We made sure to hop onto it with our kids and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing ride around the grounds.
Puppet Shows and Indoor Play
While we did not get enough time to experience the famous live puppet show or explore the indoor play area, both looked incredibly nice when we scanned through them.
Cooling Off at the Water Play Area
If you visit on a sunny day, you will love the water fountain play area. It was absolutely ideal for the kids to cool down due to the hot weather.

Het Land van Jan Klaassen is a spot Mehran often visited during his childhood trips to the Netherlands. Bringing our kids to the same park felt like a nostalgic full circle moment for us. If you have little kids and find yourself in Braamt, don’t forget to visit this hidden gem.
