Why We Have Visited Rheinfall 4+ Times Already: The Ultimate Guide
A Location Worth Multiple Visits
Rheinfall (Rhine Falls) is the largest waterfall in Europe. As residents of Switzerland, it is one of those special locations that we have visited multiple times over the years. For us, Rheinfall is an evergreen attraction that we always enjoy regardless of the weather conditions and time of the day. It is a destination that we recommend all tourists to visit.

Our First Visit to Europe’s Largest Waterfall
When I moved to Switzerland, Rheinfall was one of the first spots Mehran and I went to. From then onwards, we have found ourselves returning to it with guests just to show them how magnificent the falls are. We even watched the fireworks on Switzerland’s National Day there. There are a number of different activities one can take part in at Rheinfall, and we have indulged in almost all of them.
A Scenic Walk and Crepes Along the Platforms
On one of our trips, we decided to do the walk along the falls. We truly enjoyed roaming around on the different viewing platforms available for breathtaking views. We also indulged in some delicious crepes during that visit.
A Close-Up Boat Ride Experience
On another visit, we took a 30 minute boat ride on the Rhine River and enjoyed spectating the waterfall closely.

Exploring the Walking Trails With Our Daughter
The fourth time we visited, we took a long walking trail with our daughter and snacked on samosas and pakoras on the other side of the fall.
Experiencing a Rheinfall Sunset and Night Views
Whether you catch a glowing sunset over the rushing waters or see the roaring falls illuminated after dark, the atmosphere shifts completely. It truly doesn’t matter what time of day you arrive, the views are constantly magical.
