Driving Past the Beautiful Landscape
The journey to the park set the tone for the entire day. The drive to the entrance was extremely scenic and therapeutic. The park itself managed to be even better than the drive. We drove to the parking lot near the park and set out to start our adventure at Nationaal Park Veluwezoom.

We ended up spending 4 hours at the park taking in the incredible surroundings. We mapped out a circular walk around the park and began our adventure. The terrain surprised us at every turn, and the landscape opened up so dramatically that we felt as if we had walked straight into a desert. We couldn’t believe that we hadn’t found out about this park earlier. We are not going to lie, we definitely felt a sort of grief for having taken so long to explore this beautiful spot.
