In July 2021, we had the chance to visit the incredible Beekse Bergen Safari Park, located in Hilvarenbeek, Netherlands. This was our first car safari experience and we enjoed it alot. Here is how we felt about our exploration of the safari park.

Walking Through The Park
We started our adventure by parking our vehicle in the main lot and exploring the zoo on foot. The weather during our summer visit was extremely hot. Fortunately, we were grateful for the large areas of shade and lush greenery throughout the park, which made walking around in the heat much more comfortable and pleasant.
During the walking portion of our day, we came across an impressive variety of wildlife. We managed to see leopards, bisons, elephants, giraffes, zebras, deer, hippopotamuses, rhinoceroses, tigers, and many different types of birds. While the walking zoo area itself was not massive in size, it was beautifully maintained.
Beekse Bergen Car Safari
The absolute highlight of our entire visit was definitely the Car Safari. After completing the walking tour, we went back to our car and drove towards the dedicated safari area.
This was where the magic really happened. During our drive, we came across camels and giraffes who were confidently crossing the road right in front of us. Some of them came incredibly close to our vehicle. We absolutely loved the experience of being in such close proximity to these magnificent animals. We also spotted a cheetah wandering independently.
