Mehran watches a lot of content made by the famous Uncle Roger. Hence, FUIYOH! It’s Uncle Roger was right at the top of our list of places to visit. On the very day of our arrival in Kuala Lumpur, we ordered food from this restaurant. Our order consisted of three different Fried Rice dishes, Chicken Satay, and Gyoza.
The food was extremely delicious and the spice level was adjusted perfectly according to our preference. Our daughter completely fell in love with the less spicy fried rice and kept on asking for more. The food arrived piping hot, proving that the overall quality easily lived up to the hype. This is definitely a highly recommended spot if you love fried rice.

As huge fans of Japanese cuisine, we always look for high quality Halal Japanese restaurants wherever we go. MARUKI RAMEN CUISINE is a 100% Halal restaurant that we ended up visiting twice during our stay in Kuala Lumpur. Over our visits, we ordered the Spicy Teriyaki Karaage, Karaage Don, Takoyaki, a Yakiniku Wagyu Platter, and three different types of Ramen.
The food was absolute perfection. We felt completely satisfied with all the dishes we ordered on both of our visits. We walked out of the restaurant with big smiles both times. We highly recommend MARUKI RAMEN CUISINE if you love authentic Japanese food.
Irama Dining Kuala Lumpur
- 🥘Cuisine: Reimagined Traditional Malay Cuisine
- ⭐ Our Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- 🌙 Halal Status: 100% Halal
- 📸 Socials: Instagram
- 💰 Budget: RM 65–RM 150 per person
We visited Irama Dining Kuala Lumpur without making a prior reservation. Because the indoor seating area was completely full, we were seated at an outdoor table. Irama Dining Kuala Lumpur serves traditional Malaysian food. We ordered the Satay Chicken, Pais Barramundi, Beef Ribs Rendang, and a few other dishes.
Given the premium prices, the food unfortunately did not live up to our expectations. We absolutely loved the Beef Ribs Rendang, but everything else felt extremely underwhelming. We were looking for authentic Malaysian flavors and felt that the true authenticity got lost in an effort to make everything look sophisticated on the plate. If you love beautifully presented plates, give Irama Dining Kuala Lumpur a visit.

Ratio Fusion Beef Cuisine is an excellent Halal Japanese restaurant located in Melaka. We ordered the Beef Pho, Fish and Chips, and Basil Minced Beef Rice. The food was extremely delicious. While we had originally planned on having some traditional Yakiniku, the comforting Beef Pho definitely turned out to be the better choice for that particular day.

A 100% Halal Nando’s is located right inside Mahkota Parade Melaka. We had spent a long day exploring the historic city and wanted a quick dinner. I will be honest, I had never tried Nando’s before this trip. I was extremely hungry and ordered way too many things, including the Butter Corn, French Fries, Coleslaw, and multiple types of Chicken and Rice. The food was extremely delicious. Mehran kept jokingly asking me if I wanted Nando’s every single time we saw one because I became so obsessed with the great taste.
The Daily Fix Café (Melaka)
- 🥘Cuisine: Brunch, Specialty Coffee & Desserts (Famous for Pandan Pancakes)
- ⭐ Our Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- 🌙 Halal Status: Uses Muslim-friendly, Halal-certified ingredients, but serves alcohol on the menu
- 📸 Socials: Instagram
- 💰 Budget: RM 25–RM 60 per person
We had breakfast at the Daily Fix Café in Melaka. Our hotel had the most terrible breakfast buffet, so we went out looking for a good quality morning meal. We had to wait for about half an hour before we were successfully seated. The Daily Fix Café is extremely popular amongst tourists, and rightly so. We ordered the Chicken Club Sandwich, Banana Pancakes, French Toast, Coffee, and Chocolate Milk. Every single item was extremely delicious and our whole family loved it.

dipndip is located at Pavilion KL and also provides a reliable, fast delivery service. During our time in Kuala Lumpur, we ordered food from dipndip twice and ate onsite once. We completely fell in love with their Dip N Share boxes. Everything about those boxes (the pancakes, waffles, fresh strawberries, brownies, chocolate dipped cream puffs, and all the signature dips) was just perfect. If you are looking for a late night snack or a quick and sweet lunch, dipndip is the place you need to explore.
Zhang LaLa Mee Tarik Bukit Bintang (Kuala Lumpur)

- ⭐ Our Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- 🌙 Halal Status: 100% Halal
- 📸 Socials: Instagram
- 💰 Budget: RM 15–RM 35 per person
Zhang Lala Mee Tarik Bukit Bintang is a Halal Chinese Restaurant that serves perfect hand-pulled noodles. I am a massive fan of this particular Chinese specialty. We got dinner delivered by this restaurant and ordered Chinese Dumplings, Fried Dumplings, and two different Beef Ramen dishes.
The food was extremely delicious and arrived hot. We were extremely impressed by how well it was packed. The Beef noodles were just perfect, and the Dumplings paired so nicely with the savory chili paste that came with the food. Overall, the food by Zhang Lala Mee Tarik Bukit Bintang was a solid 11/10.
