We began our exploration at the Archaeological Site of Delphi. This Ancient Greek historical gem is truly difficult to describe in words. As we walked through the site, we encountered the stunning Temple of Apollo and the Ancient Theatre of Delphi.
Our jaws were constantly dropping as we discovered new artifacts and structures. For architecture and archaeology enthusiasts, the precision and scale of the ruins are mind-blowing. It is every bit as perfect as the pictures suggest.

Next, we headed to the Archaeological Museum of Delphi. This is another essential stop for history lovers. The museum houses a vast collection of artifacts from the ancient Greek Civilization. We learned so many fascinating historical facts and stories about Greece that brought the ruins outside to life.
The Temple of Athena Pronaia
After leaving the museum, we walked toward the Temple of Athena Pronaia. We had heard this was a location you cannot miss, and it certainly did not disappoint. The combination of natural scenic beauty and stunning architecture provided an absolute treat for our eyes. It is perhaps one of the most photographed spots in Delphi for a good reason.

Ending the Day in Delphi Town
After our historical exploration, we walked around the town to soak in the atmosphere. The town is extremely beautiful and served as the perfect way to end our day. We enjoyed a delicious meal at an Italian restaurant before driving back to Athens with our hearts full.
