Planning Your Trip: Tickets and Transportation
We drove to Engelberg station from Zürich and started our adventure at Titlis. Before heading up the mountain, we purchased our lift and sledging passes. During our trip, the combined lift and sledging ticket was worth 41 CHF. The ride up the mountain was extremely scenic and we enjoyed every bit of it.
Our Honest Review of the Titlis Engelberg Sledging Trail
In total, we managed to complete two runs down the trail. Unfortunately, it was continuously snowing on the mountain during our visit. Because of the constant fresh snowfall, the track became extremely slow. At some points along the trail, the snow was so thick that we even had to carry our sledge ourselves, which made the experience a little annoying at times.
Overall, despite the weather challenges, we had a lot of fun playing in the snow and sledging down the mountain.
Final Remarks
We definitely recommend this sledging run to people looking for a safe and comparatively slow trail for kids and families. It provides a wonderful environment for children to get comfortable with winter sports at a manageable pace.
