Schongiland Amusement Park

5 Reasons Schongiland Amusement Park Is The Absolute Best Day Trip For Toddlers

A Day At A Swiss Amusement Park

Schongiland is a fantastic amusement park located in the charming village of Schongau. The entrance ticket is worth 22 CHF, and you can easily spend 3 to 4 hours exploring everything the park has to offer.

We visited Schongiland back in 2024 to celebrate our daughter’s third birthday. She is a big fan of amusement parks and playgrounds, so we wanted to take her to a place perfectly catered to her interests. Schongiland certainly did not disappoint us in that regard. Both our kids had an incredible amount of fun during our visit.

While this park is definitely more suitable for smaller kids, there are still some activities for older children to enjoy as well. Here are the 5 main reasons why this park completely won us over.

Getting Around and Staying in Switzerland

1. The Incredible Toboggan Run

Our daughter completely fell in love with the toboggan run. It was a massive hit for her birthday celebration, and she happily rode it 4 to 5 times during our stay.

2. Tons of Rides with Cars

If your little ones love vehicles, they will be in paradise here. Our daughter loves cars, and since there were a lot of rides featuring cars, she happily experienced all of them multiple times.

3. Great Bouncy Castle Fun

Beyond the moving rides, the park has excellent playground features. The bouncy castle was another major highlight where she spent a lot of time having fun and burning off energy.

4. Perfect Alignment for Small Kids and Toddlers

Finding an amusement park that deeply caters to the toddler age group can be tough. Schongiland hits the sweet spot for smaller children while still keeping a few activities on hand to keep older kids entertained.

5. Excellent Value for a 3 to 4 Hour Visit

With an affordable entrance ticket of 22 CHF and enough variety to easily fill 3 to 4 hours of continuous play, it makes for an ideal, stress-free family day trip.

Final Remarks

Overall, both our kids had an absolute blast and keep on asking when we will be visiting Schongiland next time. I do not have a lot of pictures without my kids’ faces, so I have only shared the few that have their faces hidden.
